About Basecon

Basecon is a directory of tabletop gaming conventions in the United States: roleplaying, board games, card games and miniatures. We want one place to look when you ask what is on and how far you have to drive.

What the labels mean

• Verified means we checked the dates against the con's official site.
• No label means the dates come from a public listing we trust, and we have not yet confirmed them with the con.
• Expected means the con has not announced dates. We show the month it usually runs.

How the list stays current

A small program, BaseconBot, reads each con's own website and calendar once a day, follows robots.txt, and never signs in. A person reviews what it finds before anything changes here. Today the list holds 77 cons in 32 states. The newest check was Oct 24, 2026.

Your location

To sort cons by distance, we read the approximate place your connection comes from, down to the city. We do not store it or your address. You can pick a state yourself, and we keep that in a cookie on your device.
